We are an association of Greeks, Philhellenes, students, freelance professionals, businessmen residing in countries outside of the motherland.
We aim at the extension of voting rights to all Greek citizens and to those of Greek origin residing abroad. We want such citizens to have the chance to exercise these rights directly in their country of residence, without having the need to return to Greece and without having to deal with burocratic quibbles.
Our main goal is to have the Greek parliament approve a new and appropriate bill.
The last few years have seen our motherland at the centre of a series of unpleasant debates regarding the economic, financial, territorial and social sphere.
The time has now come for the Greeks and Philhellenes around the world to get together and claim their rights, wherever they might find themselves living.
Our symbol is composed by an ouroboros that encloses the sun of Vergina. The name ouroboros comes from the Greek “οὐροβόρος” where οὐρά (ourà) means “tail” and βορός (boròs) “devouring”. Plato describes it for the first time in the Timaeus (360 B.C.), where it stands to symbolise the eternal return, the Infinite as well as immortality.
The sun of Vergina is the symbol of the ancient reign of Macedonia, promoter of the Hellenist culture and of Hellenism in general in the then known world.
